In rural Mississippi, we know something about tending the soil, waiting on rain, and trusting the Lord for the harvest. Firstfruits is my offering—a place to share the first and best of what He’s sown in my heart.

This is where faith meets the furrows. You’ll find snippets from my morning journal, prayerful thoughts, and stories of how God’s grace shows up in the everyday—sometimes in a hymn, sometimes in a prayer for rain or for protection in the storm, sometimes in the middle of a hard row to hoe.

Just like the harvest from the garden or the orchard, these words are brought in with care and gratitude. I hope you’ll find something here that nourishes your spirit, just like the good Lord has nourished mine.
